Happy Birthday to Evi

Twenty something years ago a miracle happened to me.

I gave birth to my second child, my princess, Evangelia Irine Bourdekas at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Evangelia, we called her Evi, has my mother's name and she has come to our life to make it more interesting and more beautiful.

She was very active as a baby and she hasn't changed at all until now. She is the Crazy American girl... for her family.

The american army offered to me a certificate a few days after her birth. It was a thank you from US for producing a beautiful american citizen. A funny certificate as an award for this special girl.

She has a dual citizenship. She is Greek and US citizen and I have tried to raise her to be proud for both countries. She took the Greek citizenship because of her blood and she is proud for her legacy... her ancient roots. She has studied the US history and she honors the country which offered her the second citizenship, United States of America.

Evi is a student at the University of Piraeus. She studies European and International relatioships and she plans to follow a diplomatic career.
She has finished the high school in Ottawa, she studies now in Greece but at her future plans is to have an MBA from USA. She wants to be familiar and with her second motherland

I designed those collages of photos to present to everybody this pretty young woman, my daughter Evi.

It is my present to her for her 20th birthday.
