A family cruise

Sunday morning at the island and as we drank the morning coffee with my brother we started to talk about his new boat. It was a lazy day and we wanted to make it more interesting. What if we organize a small trip with the family's boats, the family's ships as I like to say? Nice idea... Let's start preparing it...

An hour later my cousin George has adapted the idea and we have collected the family for the small cruise to the Fourni islands. Everybody ready and start preparing the two boats of the family at the marina of Karlovasi.

Those are precious family moments. A family have jointed after long time and has been ready to start the cruise. The two twins boats, the Blue Angel, with its captain George.

... and the Taste of Honey II with its captains Leandros (we prefer to call my brother as Akis) and my sister in low Christina, are ready to go out sailing at the mediterranean sea.

The two boats start playing games at the sea and my dad start giving his advice to my brother. For our parents... we never be right. My father is a retired marine engineer with many years working experience at big ships. My brother tries now to gain some sailing experience and he needed patience having our father criticized all the time him and his sailing abilities.

After an hour the family reach its goal.. reach the Fourni islands. Fourni are few small islands with minimal vegetation but with nice beaches and some very beautiful villages. The people there are fishers and you can eat fresh and good quality of fishes at the small taverns of the islands.

After many years this family had fun swimming at lonely beaches, had "Scaros" fishes as dinner and drunk ouzo from Samos in a tavern at Fourni islands.

We have leaved together some peaceful moments!!! We came back to Karlovasi after the sunset happy and rich from one more family experience.
